Game Development
#hobby
I started learning game dev at the summer of 2023 with Godot after having failed to keep up the motivation when I tried to in the past using Pico8, Unity and UE4, but Godot seemingly stuck pretty well.
I started with a small game using the Godot documentation, it was pretty badly optimised. But I next jumped into a game jam with my limited knowledge and learned a lot!
I ended up starting to work on a little tower defence game on the side, it's currently on my GitHub and it helped me learn a lot of the ropes. I made the art using Blender and rendering it as 2D sprites and slowly started making the core gameplay loop and adding more features.
Since then the development on that game mostly stalled as I started a different project with friends and we are working on a larger project. Details incoming so keep an eye out!
December 11th update: Things are starting to take shape, expect an update in the near future!!
