3D Printing

#hobby

3D Printing has been a particular hobby of mine for a really long time - I have gotten my first 3D Printer on my 10th birthday (8 years now), and since then I have been enthralled by the hobby. I have had a total of 10 printers, here they are!

Printer Year Notes
M3D Micro 2015 It was a very bad printer, but it was child-proof and beginner friendly
BQ Hephestos 2 2016 I wasn't very knowledgeable about printers at the age of 11 and this is one we could find locally
Anycubic Photon 2019 I really like painting models and I got very excited when a budget resin printer released, bought it very closely to release
Ender 3 2019 I started getting more savvy with modding and tech and wanted an easy printer to do it with
Voron v0.1 2021 A fun project I did during winter break and a portable printer to bring to my dorm, helped me learn a lot about the design of printers
Prusa Mini+ 2022 I wanted something plug and play since I started using printers more than just a toy
Custom Build #1 2022 I had a start-up with friends! We tried building a toolchanger printer using SCARA kinematics - This was our first prototype which I fully designed by myself in Fusion 360
Formlabs +1 2022 I got it off Facebook Marketplace for really cheap, but I couldn't get it to work, it was fairly abused (used with wrong resin) and my computer wouldn't detect it
Custom Build #2 2022-3 Our second prototype of the same printer, this one I directed the design of, but didn't model directly. We built it in the US over winter break and new years.
Bambu Labs P1S 2023 They are frankly overpriced in Israel and I am currently staying in the US so I figured I'd get it to have a printer while I am here, and to take back home later
